This is a day that travellers always request. After visiting all the regions of our trip together, already being familiar with Kathmandu, a day to enjoy our Tibetan neighborhood, take a walk around the city, go somewhere we haven't been yet, return with more time to one or more places that We visited, having already met and now being able to enjoy a coffee, review a museum, buy a few things, these are possibilities that are always very welcome by our friends, fellow travellers. Count on our support, of course, and enjoy your day in Nepal!

We will see how the group wants to best enjoy the day. We have some suggestions like a walk around the valley. We will listen to how each Traveller prefers to enjoy the day so we can think about how it will be better for the group, to enjoy the whole day together or if some Travellers prefer to have our support for more independent activities.

After all the preparations have been well taken care of over the last few months, it's time to go to the airport for the flights to Nepal!

We have our hotel available until approx. noon in the morning. So, you can choose to fly back home that night, early morning or tomorrow. It's always quite comfortable to go to the airport while we still have our room available to rest, pack our bags and take a shower.

We hope you enjoyed your travel days. May you have great flights back home and come back soon!

Going to the airport could have been the night before, as explained above, this morning or today, depending on your preference. Very good flights! See you soon!

Regarding times and days, flights normally leave Guarulhos SP (GRU) early in the morning, around 1 or 2am that night. Therefore, anyone traveling to São Paulo from other states must make their domestic flight the day before. And anyone going to GRU by car must go to the airport the night before. Guilherme will certainly contact you before you go to the airport and will be available when you arrive at the airport to see if you need any help, making sure you are arriving with complete peace of mind. Have a great flight and see you soon!

Then we will travel to the capital of the state of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

Today we will take a trip to the state capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

On the way we will visit the city of Fatehpur Sikri, built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. A student of the philosophy of the great religious traditions, he was the first Mughal emperor not to levy higher taxes on those who were not of his religion, such as having a Hindu general commanding his army. In addition to visiting its city, used for a very short period, we will also visit the Emperor's Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque) and the mausoleum of a Sufi saint, from the time of this empire.

We will arrive in the capital of the state of Rajasthan at the end of the day.

Tip about starting the tour tomorrow: it is possible to go up to the fort with the help of an elephant. A few years ago they started to limit the number of climbs per elephant, a great measure to avoid overloading and stressing the animals. So there is a limited number of elephants and climbs for each of them. Talk to your guide later in the day to make sure they leave your hotel at a time that they arrive at the head of the queue at a time that will ensure as much of an elephant as possible if you prefer to make the ascent.

We'll start our day early to climb up to Fort Amber, with the possibility of an elephant's help on this climb. See note at the end of the previous day on the number of elephants, please. We will walk through the halls, gardens, chambers and secret passages, with views of the region of the palace of the rajput and general of Akbar's army, Man Sing. In the same village of Amber, near Jaipur, we have the option of visiting a museum about the 'block printing' painting technique, set up by the Anokhi store.

On the way back to the pink city, as ancient Jaipur is known, we will stop on the shores of a lake where there is a palace on an island, called Jal Mahal. A restaurant suggestion, quite old and traditional, very funny actually, where we ate approx. 20 years is the LMB. In the old part of the city, everyone knows it. One of the good options is the Veg Thali, a combination of several Indian foods (rice, lentils, vegetables, yogurt, see if a butter nan or plain nan is already available if you don't order it, it's delicious). Ask not to come spicy but it should come a little or a little. So a sweet or banana lassi to go with it can be great!

After a good lunch, we will walk through the old city. We will visit the Hawa Mahal, or Palace of the Winds, built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799, so that women could see the movement of the streets without being seen. We will also visit the City Palace Museum and Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory also from the XNUMXth century. XVIII, now protected by Unesco, constituted by great instruments of incredible precision until the present day.

Tip on tomorrow's start: the sooner we leave, the more time we have for Red Fort in Agra. Possibility to have an early breakfast. Arrange with your driver, please! If we can help, we are always available, please call us to think and organize together.

Free day to explore Jaipur. We had very good feedback from an Ayurvedic massage clinic if you are interested, okay? There are also cooking classes. There is a restaurant with Rajasthani dancing at dinner (booking required). It has a large hotel, formerly a palace, which, if they are receiving people who are not staying with them, has a very good dinner too.

Free day to explore Jaipur. Whether it's enjoying the streets of old Jaipur or returning to the museum with more time. We had very good feedback from an Ayurvedic massage clinic being interested. There is also a cooking class that our Travellers have really enjoyed. There's the old Raj Mandir cinema, a certainly fun experience, mid-film intermission and all. I haven't been yet and I've always wanted to visit Surya Temple. There are some possibilities. Let's talk.

Free afternoon in Boudhnath

Chorten Himalaya Flight west
Chorten Nepal Kathmandu Airport 3
Chorten Nepal Kathmandu Boudhnath Boudha

Welcome to Nepal! From the airport runway, weather permitting, it is already possible to see the mountains around the valley. With your visa and suitcase in hand, a procedure facilitated by Guilherme who will be accompanying the group since the main program, we will be greeted by our local representative and driver who will be waiting for us with a Chörten license plate.

Around the big stupa (tib: chörten)from Boudhanath in our Tibetan neighborhood, full of monasteries, you will find secular nuns, monks and Tibetans, sometimes great masters, doing their koras (circumumbulations), spinning the famous prayer wheels with millions of Om Mani Padma Hungs, reciting mantras and lighting lamps mainly in the late afternoons and early mornings. Take advantage of one of the cafes or restaurants in the surroundings of the stupa to observe and assimilate a little of this ancient culture.
