Lia Diskin: What is meditation?

Lia Diskin, co-founder of the Palas Athena Association, talks about the emergence of meditation in the most different contemplative traditions. Attentional practices seek to provide individuals with tools to become familiar with themselves, internalize themselves, integrate their different aspects and offer a path for their search for transcendence.

Lia Diskin usually teaches the course “Attention and Concentration on Meditative Practices” which can be taken in the form of a workshop or extensive. In it, techniques from different traditions are discussed.
