Physical preparation

Hiking trip

If you plan to hike on your trip, the better you prepare yourself physically before your trip, the better you will enjoy your time here. Examples:

Na India:

  • Dharamsala: sometimes we go for a walk that with a little or good physical preparation, you will surely enjoy more;

No Nepal:

  • Kathmandu Valley: it is common to take walks around the city, sometimes climbing the stairs of monasteries;

No Bhutan:

  • Paro: for the trek to Paro Taksang, the Tiger's Nest, a little or good physical preparation will certainly help you enjoy the entire trek more. Get into the habit of walking regularly in the months before your trip. If possible, run a little or walk at a faster pace. If you can hike on trails, with ups and downs, that would also be great;
  • Punakha: we usually do a very pleasant walk, approximately 1 hour there and a little less to return, which, in the same way, doing exercises before the trip will make it a very peaceful and enjoyable walk;

No Tibet:

  • In general: we are always going up and down stairs in the monasteries that are located on hills in the Tibetan plain;
  • Kailash: It is important to do exercises regularly beforehand, especially on the second day. We will talk more about this;
