Today we will travel by car to Agra. On the way, closer to Agra, we will visit the city. Fatehpur Sikri, This city, built by the great Mughal emperor Akbar, was a scholar of the philosophy of the great religious traditions, and in opposition to religious intolerance, he created a movement based on a code of ethics called Dīn-i Ilāhī. Akbar was the first Mughal emperor not to impose higher taxes on those who were not of his religion and had a Hindu general commanding his army. In addition to visiting his interesting city, which he used for a very short period, we will also visit the emperor's Jama Masjid (Friday mosque) and the mausoleum of the Sufi saint Salim Chishti.
We will have already had a very good lunch along the way and then we will continue on to Agra.

Today is the day we will visit the Taj MahalBuilt by Shah Jahan for his wife, Mumtaz Mahal, in the 17th century, thousands of workers and architects from various regions of the world spent 20 years using India's famous white marble and precious stones in this project. There are countless stories about the Taj Mahal that we will hear from our local guide, including stories connected to our afternoon tour and the possibility of an extra activity at sunset.
We will also visit the Agra FortThis Red Fort of Agra, more beautiful and with more history than the one in Delhi, was first used by Babur, the first Mughal emperor, in the 16th century, and built in its current form by Akbar. We will visit its gardens, public and private audience halls, mosque, and living quarters, including the place where Shah Jahan was imprisoned by his son and the one Akbar built for his son, with symbols of all the major religious and philosophical traditions of the time.
An extra option for the end of the day is to watch the sunset behind the Taj Mahal.
